About Mid-Atlantic
Edward Stinson founded Mid-Atlantic Auction & Appraisals in 1990 after completing coursework at the prestigious Winterthur Program in Early American Culture. Edward received his B. A. in history from Colby College in 1986. Edward previously worked with his family's auction and antique business Carl W. Stinson, Inc. throughout New England and was a fellow of the Historic Deerfield Summer Fellowship Program. Mid-Atlantic has conducted numerous auctions of antiques, fine furnishings, porcelains, works of art, oriental rugs, silver, jewelry, china, clocks, needlework, and coins. Currently, we work with individuals and attorneys in the sale of single items and collections. We are actively looking to purchase quality antiques for top prices. In addition, we provide appraisals of individual items as well as estates.
