About Mid-Atlantic Auction
Edward Stinson founded Mid-Atlantic Auction in 1990 after completing coursework at the prestigious Winterthur Program in Early American Culture. Edward received his B. A. in history from Colby College in 1986. A past fellow of the Historic Deerfield Summer Fellowship Program, Edward also worked with his family's auction and antique business Carl W. Stinson, Inc. throughout the New England area. We conduct auctions of antiques, fine furnishings, porcelains, works of art, oriental rugs, silver, jewelry, china, clocks, needlework and coins. We work with individuals in the sale of single items as well as collections. We also provide appraisals of individual items as well as entire estates.
